A bite to eat? Offering a highly varied range of Italian and international specialities as well as an exciting pizza menu, the STAZIONE BIRRA restaurant area can accommodate up to 600 diners. The excellent quality of the over 200 different dishes served in the restaurant have earned STAZIONE BIRRA the esteem and friendship of the Italian Federation of Chefs and the acknowledgement of the Regional Union of Chefs. Stimulated by these accolades, STAZIONE BIRRA now plays host to the annual National Festival of Chefs, an event which sees the participation of over 500 members of the catering trade.
A little music? Proposed every night with indisputable quality, live music is one of the mainstays of STAZIONE BIRRA’s success. Two distinct PA systems - one dedicated to live performances and the other geared to console-based sounds – pipe the music of the moment throughout the main arena. In addition the fact that the live performances are managed using a completely different audio system to the disco-oriented equipment enables the preparation of extremely high quality recordings. Dedicated to the pursuit of high quality music regardless of the stylistic barriers which hinder many other venues, STAZIONE BIRRA’s live performances range across the whole musical spectrum and include exponents from such diverse fields as jazz rock, blues, progressive rock, hard rock, heavy metal, punk, reggae and folk. Opening its stage on 11 March 2004 with a concert by the legendary Carl Palmer Band, STAZIONE BIRRA has since hosted hundreds of great gigs including performances by Steve Hackett, Eddie & The Hot Rods, Dokken, Echolyn, Tony Levin, Mike Stern, Tony Martin, Colosseum, Nine Below Zero, Billy Cobham, Tommy Emmanuel, Hatfield & The North, Banda Bassotti, Radici nel Cemento, Pendragon, Le Orme, Procol Harum, Earth Wind & Fire, James Taylor Quartet, Hiram Bullock, Hot Tuna, Joe Bonamassa, Marty Friedman, Allan Holdsworth, Rickie Lee Jones and Paul Gilbert.
Some dancing? With Friday and Saturday nights after 11.30 pm dedicated exclusively to the latest sounds from the dance floor, STAZIONE BIRRA welcomes over 8,000 young people per month to its disco nights.
A pint? STAZIONE BIRRA’s decision to establish its own independent brewery is now reaping the benefits of the investment in time and effort with the expansion of sales to new locations other than the STAZIONE BIRRA venue next on the agenda. Convinced of the feasibility of the brewery project right from the earliest study stage, STAZIONE BIRRA is one of the first Italian breweries to be recognized by the Italian Association of Organic Agriculture for its production of organic beer.
